Economic Forum 2020 in Karpacz, Poland
From 8 to 10 September in the city of Karpacz, Poland, the International Economic Forum was held, which for the 30th time has become a global platform for discussing topical economic and political issues. More than three thousand guests from Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and America were invited to the event. The organizers of this large-scale event offered the guests of the forum about two hundred discussions and round tables, more than three hundred events, divided by topics.
This largest conference in Central and Western Europe brought together the heads of governments, ministers, experts, public figures, chairmen of large firms, and representatives of the world of science, culture and international media. The main topic of the forum was the future of Europe and the whole world, issues of energy, transport, industry, and new technologies.
The ALLATRA TV international team, consisting of participants from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, took part in the Economic Forum and talked with the guests of the event on relevant global topics of today: the need to create a Creative Society and unite all people in the name of peace and prosperity for all mankind.
When asked what kind of world they would like to live in and how to make every person's life happy, the guests and participants of the forum answered unanimously: A constructive development format is the only correct one for all people.
Katerina Vatskova, founder of NGO Loono, UN Goodwill Ambassador, “A Creative Society resonates with my understanding of a happy life, when spiritual development, physical health, life, and work, all this is interconnected and harmonious. This, in my opinion, is the balance when a person feels good. Because when people are doing well, they have no desire to take away someone's freedom and the like. It all starts with ourselves. We are the creators of our own actions and have an impact on the people around us. If everyone in the world is morally and physically good, a large number of conflicts will disappear. When solving any problems, you should always start with yourself and take into account the opinions of other people."
Katerina Vatskova, founder of NGO Loono, UN Goodwill Ambassador
Margarita Prus, journalist at Studio Polony World, editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian-Polish newspaper Svoboda i Zakon (Freedom and Law), "People building the Creative Society are first of all people who do everything according to their true aspirations: they have decided - they have done it. If there is an incentive, there will be actions of people to build such a society".
Margarita Prus, journalist at Studio Polony World
Grigoris Zarotiadis, Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Political Sciences at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, "The only thing that I could comment on is that focusing on the life of each individual is very important, but we should not forget that surviving, the safety and the development of the life of each individual needs not only individual but also collective actions. So we should not forget that. It is a matter of collectivity, of collaboration, of functioning within bigger groups of people."
Grigoris Zarotiadis, Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Political Sciences at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki
