What is the purpose of real alchemy? What is alchemy for the initiated? Does the elixir of immortality really exist?
Alchemy has existed since the beginning of time as a tool for people seeking spiritual freedom through science, through the world surrounding us.
Many people strive to follow this way, but who is worthy and gets to reach the real pinnacle of alchemy

There was so-called alchemy for the initiated (it was called differently, but that's not the point, we know it as alchemy, so we won't fight over epithets). It has existed since the beginning of time as for people seeking spiritual freedom through science, through the world surrounding us, through consciousness they sought to come to God. And they used to have such an expression that "a true master must ride the devil like a horse to get to the gates of Eternity. While a fool carries the beast on his shoulder until his death." And such an expression did say a lot.
What's the point? There was alchemy for the initiated, for whom the value was not in gold. They were looking for these very stimulations, this elixir of immortality. They didn't have the notion of the philosopher's stone, that which could turn one metal into another, give immortality to the body, cure all diseases — it's not that.
The same is with the elixir of immortality... They used stimulants to develop the capabilities of their brain to go into the beyond. So, the elixir leads beyond the limits, and a lot was written and told about it. What does that mean? Beyond the limits of our three-dimensionality, where a person can see the essence of things, where he can unmask the one we call the devil, where he can feel and understand that there is another world, the Eternal World, or as we say, God's World, and strive to reach infinity, that is, to enter the Eternal Life. And that was the real alchemy for the initiated. And, of course, the pinnacle for them was the elixir of immortality (it was called differently, that doesn’t matter), but they used it exactly for these needs, and they were searching for Life, not searching for metals.
But there were outsiders among them as well. Why? Everything's always full of rumors, the system always splits things up. Perfectly aware of that, they created such a bumper for people who had thirst for profit, who were selfish, or, let's say, who were dominated by these two blocks — the first and the second one. While they themselves strived to develop the fourth block, clearly.
