SB64 — the 64th session of the subsidiary bodies of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) — brought together representatives of governments, the scientific community, international organizations, and civil society in Bonn. As an important stage in the preparations for COP31, the conference served as a platform for dialogue on current climate and environmental challenges, as well as for discussing possible ways to achieve sustainable solutions.
During SB64, the ALLATRA media team conducted a series of interviews with delegates and experts from different countries, in which they spoke about how global environmental changes are manifesting themselves in different regions of the world.
The report presents expert opinions on climate action, environmental pollution, biodiversity conservation, the state of ecosystems, as well as the growing concern over the issue of micro- and nanoplastics. The participants also emphasized the need for international cooperation, a responsible attitude toward the environment, and climate action that takes into account the interests of future generations.
The video brings together the main conclusions and assessments of the SB64 participants, demonstrating the importance of international dialogue in the search for solutions to global climate and environmental challenges.
