This documentary explores a significant international mission to South Korea centered on spiritual diplomacy, democratic principles, and the universal protection of fundamental human rights. Led by Pastor Mark Burns, spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump, a prominent spiritual leader and advocate for interfaith cooperation, the global initiative known as Spiritual Diplomats operates across international borders to advance peace and understanding through dialogue grounded in shared moral values.
The ALLATRA international delegation, represented by its President Maryna Ovtsynova (USA) and volunteer Marketa Vackova (Czech Republic), joined this four-day mission at the personal invitation of Pastor Burns.
The video documents the work of spiritual leaders and international observers as they engage in peaceful dialogue and cross-cultural engagement to address challenges facing religious communities and free expression globally.
Featuring insights from religious leaders, human rights advocates, and international delegations, this presentation examines the critical role of Spiritual Diplomacy, an initiative championed by interfaith leaders, as a bridge-building approach that transcends political boundaries and policy frameworks. Through thoughtful conversation and mutual respect, the delegation demonstrates how dialogue grounded in shared values of compassion and dignity can advance understanding across nations and cultures.
During the mission, Pastor Burns bestowed the Spiritual Diplomat pin upon Reverend Demian Dunkley, Chairman and President of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) in the USA, acknowledging his dedication to spiritual diplomacy and service to humanity.
American Pastor Greg Locke participated in this South Korea mission. Pastor Burns welcomed him as a Spiritual Diplomat and emphasized that Pastor Locke continues this global mission, extending to other nations such as Taiwan, where he carries messages of peace and wisdom to world leaders.
The footage captures roundtable discussions, community visits, and reflections on universal concerns, including religious freedom, human rights protections, and the importance of democratic institutions in protecting fundamental liberties worldwide.
This presentation is offered as an educational resource for those interested in interfaith cooperation, international relations, and the global discourse on fundamental freedoms and human dignity.
Pastor Burns invites everyone interested to participate in the International Interfaith Conference “Unity in Freedom: The Rise of Spiritual Diplomats”. This event will serve as the opening conference in a series hosted on the ALLATRA platform as part of the Universal Grain project, bringing together global spiritual and community leaders, as well as anyone willing to contribute to building a world grounded in peace and the protection of fundamental human rights.
International Interfaith Conference "United in Liberty: The Rise of Spiritual Diplomats" is scheduled for January 22, 2026, and will take place at the Capitol Complex, Washington, D.C.
