The international conference “Freedom Has a Name and It’s Called Ukraine,” held in Washington, D.C. under the leadership of Pastor Mark Burns and hosted on the platform of ALLATRA International Public Movement, became a space for open dialogue about supporting Ukraine amid the ongoing war.
During the event, the team of ALLATRA TV spoke with Johana Nozarová and Julie Pluhařová, interns at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the United States.
The conversation focused on the importance of international solidarity as a real expression of unity within the democratic world. Meetings like these are not only a diplomatic format but also a confirmation of support for the Ukrainian people in their pursuit of freedom and independence.
The speakers also emphasized the human dimension of the war — the people who often remain beyond official reports and headlines. Behind every news story are real individuals: families, communities, children, and personal destinies who face loss and hardship every day.
