On February 5, 2026, a landmark event took place at the US Capitol, uniting the world in support of Ukraine. The conference “Freedom Has a Name, and It’s Called Ukraine,” led by Pastor Mark Burns, a spiritual advisor to Donald Trump, on the platform of the ALLATRA International Public Movement, became a venue for sincere dialogue on sovereignty and human dignity.
This event became a unique international platform that brought together government officials, religious leaders, diplomats, military personnel, and public figures around a common goal — to provide comprehensive support to Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peace.
In her speech, Yuliia Yatsyk represented the voices of millions of Ukrainians who courageously face the challenges of the war unleashed by Russia on a daily basis. She spoke about the difficult humanitarian conditions in Ukrainian cities and the critical problems with electricity, water, and heating faced by civilians in Ukraine. The speaker paid particular attention to the fate of people in the territories of Melitopol, Mariupol, Berdyansk, Tokmak, and her native Vasylivka, which have remained under the Russian occupation since February 2022.
Yuliia Yatsyk shared her personal story of participating in volunteer aid efforts under extremely difficult conditions: organizing “roads of life” for evacuating people and delivering water, food, medicine, and generators.
🇺🇦 A special moment was the presentation of the painting “A Ukrainian Guardian” — a symbol of the indomitability of Ukrainian women and faith in victory, created by Yuliia's father especially for Pastor Mark Burns.
Yuliia Yatsyk emphasized that Ukraine's efforts are not only about defending its own territory, but also about defending fundamental democratic values.
“For freedom, for truth, for life. This is our common cause,” she appealed to the international community, calling for their continued support for the courageous Ukrainian people, who are defending freedom, truth, and the future for the whole world on a daily basis.
