John Wagner About the Future of Public Relations and Mass Media | Washington, DC

Participants of the Creative Society project attended the IGAPA event in Washington, DC, where John Wagner, Executive vice president at Equitus Corporation and the chief communications officer at Americano Media, was among the invited guests.

John Wagner's extensive experience makes him of great interest to those involved in public relations, media relations, lobbying, etc.

Mr. Wagner shared his views on the power of voice that each individual possesses today. He gave an example of how the actions of one person, who did not influence the media, can reach an audience of several million people and gain more views than several leading news organizations combined.

John Wagner is convinced that people have a voice and they must choose how to use it wisely.

Additionally, Mr. Wagner expressed his opinion on the current state of advocacy. According to him, the most effective way to strengthen advocacy is to shift focus towards coalition-building.
