Delivering a passionate and unifying address, Pastor Mark Burns, Spiritual Advisor to President Donald J. Trump and the Chairman of Spiritual Diplomats, called on leaders across government, civil society, and faith communities to move beyond division and become active advocates for those whose voices are too often ignored, declaring: “We don’t carry weapons, we carry wisdom. We don’t carry policies, we care about people.”
On January 22, 2026, an unprecedented gathering took place at the U.S. Capitol Complex in Washington, D.C., the International Interfaith Conference, “United in Liberty: The Rise of Spiritual Diplomats,” held on the ALLATRA platform, bringing together faith leaders, government officials, civil society representatives, policymakers, human rights advocates, and community leaders from around the world.
Held in the Caucus Room of the Cannon House Office Building, this historic gathering emphasized that sustainable peace cannot be achieved by politics or power alone, it requires ethical leadership, spiritual conviction, and cooperation across sectors and beliefs.
Participants from diverse religious, cultural, and professional backgrounds, including diplomats, elected officials, NGO leaders, academics, influencers, and grassroots organizers, united around a shared commitment to:
• protect human life and dignity
• speak for the voiceless
• confront injustice and violence
• prevent and resolve conflicts
• build dialogue between governments and communities
Watch to the end for this powerful address by Pastor Mark Burns, calling leaders in faith, government, and civil society to stand for peace, moral leadership, and the voiceless.
