“I think that the most underappreciated [property] is that water can hold energy. You know, there is a battery-like effect that I was talking about.
…If you read a textbook, especially ones I look at, biologically oriented textbooks, they regard water as merely the background carrier of the more important molecules of life. But everything we found said that, ‘No, that's not true.’ That water is absolutely central for everything in life and particularly the energy,” Dr. Pollack shared with us.

According to Professor Pollack, who sincerely strives for in-depth exploration of the truths of nature, “Everything we think we know, we may not know or might not be true. There are some exceptions, but I start with that hypothesis. You might call it the Occam's razor hypothesis: it's got to be simple. If it's not simple, then it might be problematic.”
This interview clearly shows that we shouldn’t believe everything that is written in textbooks. But we should definitely figure it out ourselves and not be afraid to question aspects that we consider well-established. With this approach, new discoveries and inventions await us, and our world can become different.
