On May 24, a powerful storm struck the central and northern regions of Pakistan, bringing torrential rainfall, thunderstorms, and hail. This occurred following a period of extreme heat, when air temperatures soared above 113 degrees Fahrenheit. The storm impacted the provinces of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the country's capital, Islamabad.
The raging elements brought transportation to a halt, damaged infrastructure, and triggered widespread power outages. Violent wind gusts tore off solar panels, uprooted trees, and sent clouds of dust and sand into the air. In Islamabad, stormwater flooded homes, causing serious disruption for local residents. At Quaid-i-Azam University, a roof collapsed under the pressure.
The province of Punjab, the most densely populated region in the country, suffered the most from the storm’s onslaught. In its capital, Lahore — the second-largest city in Pakistan — train service on one metro line was temporarily suspended, and passengers were evacuated. Due to low visibility, highways in many areas were closed off.
In total, at least twenty people lost their lives in Punjab province due to collapsing walls and roofs, falling solar panels, and lightning strikes. More than one hundred fifty others were injured.
The dangerous weather conditions nearly caused a disaster for flight FL 842, operated by a private airline, en route from Karachi to Lahore. During its landing approach in Lahore, just after the plane touched down on the runway, it was struck by a sudden gust of wind accompanied by hail. The pilot had to quickly abort the landing and take the aircraft back into the air.
For the next ten minutes, the plane was trapped in severe turbulence, violently tossed from side to side. Panic broke out on board, with passengers screaming in fear. One of them described it as the worst flight of his life. The flight was eventually diverted back to Karachi, where the aircraft landed safely. The passengers refused to attempt the flight again.
Natural disasters occurring today in different parts of the world on an almost daily basis are a clear and undeniable sign that our planet is undergoing serious and extremely dangerous geodynamic changes. This scenario was forecast years ago by the international group of scientists known as AllatRa, and unfortunately, that prediction is now coming true with alarming precision.
In his video titled “Declaration That Will Shake Science, Dr. Egon Cholakian”, a representative of the AllatRa scientific community, presented the working principles behind technologies that could stop the progression of global-scale cataclysms. These same technologies also offer modern science the opportunity to achieve a tremendous breakthrough in the coming years.
