Storm Leonardo flooded Portugal and Spain, record snowfalls with drifts up to 183 cm paralyzed Japan, Cuba recorded 0 °C for the first time in history, and in central Russia thermometers dropped to −33.7 °C. These are no longer isolated anomalies — the climate disasters of 2026 have begun occurring simultaneously on all continents, amplifying each other and creating a cascade of destruction. The synchronization of cataclysms has reached a new level of danger, leaving humanity trapped in a continuous climate nightmare.
Imagine the town of Grazalema in Spain. In just 16 hours, it was hit by 400 mm of rain — nearly a year’s worth. Water seeped through the walls of houses, flowed down steep streets, turning the tourist town into a disaster zone. People were hammering holes in the outer walls to let the water out — there was simply no other way. Many fled their homes in a hurry, leaving all their belongings behind. This isn’t a scene from a movie — this is the reality of February 2026.
In Portugal, the Sado River overflowed its banks, raising the water level to two meters. People said they had never before seen such a force of nature. More than 200 people evacuated their homes, and a state of emergency was declared in 69 districts across the country.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the planet, a completely different tragedy was unfolding. Japan was hit by a snow collapse: in the city of Aomori, snowdrifts reached 183 cm — nearly three times the normal level. Schools closed, power went out, and for the first time since 2005, the authorities requested assistance from the Self-Defense Forces.
Even more shocking was what happened in the Caribbean. In the town of Indio Hatuey in Cuba, temperatures dropped to 0 °C — an absolute national cold record in the history of observations. Vegetation was covered in frost. The cold air mass spread across the entire country: at 32 meteorological stations, temperatures of +10 °C or lower were recorded — numbers considered anomalous in the tropics.
Scientists from “ALLATRA” warned as early as 2020 about the synchronization of natural cataclysms. Back then, it seemed like a theory. Today — it is our reality. In just the first month and a half of 2026, Europe has already experienced seven consecutive storms. People don’t have time to repair their homes after one blow of nature before the next one hits.
The most alarming fact is that humanity missed the opportunity for a controlled degassing of the Siberian plume. This measure could have bought us several additional years to prepare. But it was ignored. Now, any attempt at intervention could trigger an explosive catastrophic scenario.
We stand on the threshold of a critical point. The synchronization of cataclysms is accelerating, and the opportunities to address the climate crisis are shrinking with each passing day. Yet as long as we are still capable of thinking, understanding, and acting, humanity still has a chance to change the future. Each of us can make a contribution — starting with recognizing the scale of the crisis and spreading the truth about what is happening to our planet.
